Everything that grows changes, and everything that changes goes through transitions. In every level of growth there is a transition phase. The transition phase is that space that exists between where you are and where you will eventually end up. Some transitions are the natural flow of life, while others are unexpected and at times forced upon us. The problem with transitions is that they are always stressful.
But it’s in the transition phase, where God does his greatest work in our lives.

• God spoke to a young man named Joseph in a dream and told him that one day he would become a king. Think about the transition Joseph had to go through on the way to becoming king.
• God one day spoke to a young virgin named Mary, and told her that she would give birth to the savior of the world. Think about that transition.

You can’t grow without changing, and you can’t change without going through transitions.

Heavenly Father, I want to grow, I want to see changes in my life. Help me to accept and go through transitions knowing that this is an important part of your growth plan for my life.
