Imagine having such a faith that you truly believed God was involved in every area of your life, big or small. What would you fear? What would you worry about? How would you respond in the difficult or good times? Imagine such a faith that you believed that God is not only in control of every area of your life, but that He’s using every situation for your well-being. This is precisely the kind of faith that God wants for you.

 

One day a man came to Jesus asking for help. He told Jesus about how his servant was suffering after becoming paralyzed. Before the man could continue Jesus asked, “Shall I come and heal him?” to which the man replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come into my house, just say the word and my servant will be healed”. The Bible says that Jesus was amazed, and replied, “I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith”. In the entire Bible, this was the only man that ever amazed Jesus. And what amazed Jesus about this man was his faith. Imagine having such great faith that even God would be amazed.

Heavenly Father, I want to grow my faith, I want to have such a faith that I would respond to everything in my life, big or small, good or bad, with the certainty that you are in control.
