What is your priority in life? What is on your to do list? God has only one priority and that is to reveal His glory. The only item on His to do list is to declare and reveal His glory each day.

Why did God create everything?

 For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. – Romans 11:36 NLT

 

Why did God create the heavens?

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. Psalm 19:1-2 NLT

 Why does God allow us to suffer?

 I have refined you, but not as silver is refined. Rather, I have refined you in the furnace of suffering. I will rescue you for my sake— yes, for my own sake! I will not let my reputation be tarnished, and I will not share my glory with idols!

– Isaiah 48:10-11

 Why does God allow us to suffer troubles?

 Call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory. – Psalms 50:15 NLT

 Moses asked God to let him glimpse His glory and he was forever transformed. When Ezekiel witnessed the glory of God in the temple, he fell face down on the ground. When the glory of God entered the temple, the priests became so overwhelmed they could not perform their duties. When Peter witnessed the glory of God at the Mount of Transfiguration, he wanted to build a tent and stay there forever.

Jesus’ death on the cross, brought glory to God; Jesus declared His mission a success when He said, I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. John 17:4 NLT

 

Why do heaven and earth exist?   For His glory.

Why did Jesus come to earth?   For His glory.

Why did Jesus die on the cross?  For His glory.

Why did God create you?    For His glory.

Why do you have talents and abilities?  For His glory.

Why do you have wealth or needs?  For His glory.

Why do you have sufferings and troubles?  For His glory.

Why do you have blessings and joy?  For His glory.

So, what is your priority in life? What is on your to do list today?

 

Heavenly Father, my greatest desire is to live my life  giving you glory, help me to make your glory my number one priority, this way I’ll  know that I am living in your perfect will. Thank you for loving me and allowing me to reflect your great glory.
